Our Code of Conduct serves as a framework and guideline to support our employees, customers and suppliers in consistently respecting and complying with legal regulations and ethical principles. Our business activities are based on these principles.
Human Rights
It is a matter of course for us to respect nationally and internationally recognized human rights within our sphere of influence. We respect the dignity and personal rights of all employees, customers and suppliers. We expect the same from our suppliers and customers.
Discrimination
We reject any form of discrimination based on age, gender, sexual orientation, origin, religion or belief, disability, illness or social background within our company. We expect the same from our suppliers and customers.
Unlawful Actions
We are committed to fair competition and reject any anti-competitive agreements. We also oppose all forms of corruption, bribery and extortion. We expect the same from our suppliers and customers.
Energy and Environmental Responsibility
We are committed to complying with all applicable legal requirements in the fields of energy and environmental protection. To support this, we have implemented an energy management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 50001 and an environmental management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14001.
In addition, we promote the responsible use of water, energy and materials, avoid environmental impacts in production and administration, continuously improve our recycling processes and encourage environmentally conscious behavior among our employees.
Confidentiality and Data Protection
All information, data and documents received from third parties are treated confidentially. All employees are required to safeguard internal company information. We expect the same from our suppliers and customers.
Conflicts of Interest
We place great importance on strictly separating private and business interests. Personal relationships or interests of employees must not influence business activities and should be avoided. Any personal interest or conflict of interest must be disclosed. Disclosure will not result in any disadvantages for the individual concerned.
Fair Working Conditions
Safe and fair working conditions are essential to us in order to eliminate potential risks for our employees. We take responsibility for fair remuneration and ensure compliance with legally defined working hours. We oppose all forms of child labor and forced labor. We expect the same from our suppliers and customers.
Health and Safety at Work
Providing a safe and appropriate working environment for our employees is a given for us. We avoid any conditions that could endanger the health of our employees, visitors or partners.
Employees are required to comply with all applicable occupational safety regulations, fire protection guidelines and emergency procedures. We also promote employee well-being through healthy nutrition and balanced catering options at the workplace.
Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining
We ensure open communication between employees and management regarding working conditions. This includes the right to collective bargaining. Employees are free to form or join employee representative bodies without fear of disadvantage.
Financial Responsibility
We place great importance on the proper documentation of relevant business processes and financial information to ensure accurate and transparent reporting. Employees with financial responsibilities must perform their duties responsibly, accurately, reliably and with integrity.
Disclosure of Information
Employees who communicate financial and non-financial information to stakeholders must do so transparently and in compliance with applicable laws.
Plagiarism Prevention
We require our suppliers to implement effective methods and processes to identify and prevent the introduction of counterfeit or plagiarized materials into the supply chain. The same applies to our employees.
Export Controls and Economic Sanctions
We conduct our business in compliance with applicable export control regulations and economic sanctions to ensure secure and lawful trade. Any activities outside these regulations are strictly rejected. We expect the same from our suppliers and customers.
Whistleblowing and Protection Against Retaliation
In case of concerns regarding compliance with the above principles or to prevent misconduct, employees are required to contact their direct supervisor.
We ensure that all employees who report concerns are protected from threats, harassment or any form of retaliation. Whistleblowers will not face any disadvantages.
Responsible Sourcing of Raw Materials
We and our suppliers are committed to exercising due diligence in the sourcing and extraction of raw materials, including conflict minerals. The unlawful or unethical procurement of raw materials must be avoided. This also applies to environmental protection, chemical management and the respect of human rights throughout the supply chain.
