
Shock absorber and valve test bench
Our shock absorber test bench allows precise testing of the damping behavior of shock absorbers in laboratory and experimental settings. The semi-automatic system offers manual loading with an automatic test sequence, ensuring efficient and repeatable test results.
A linear motor drives the actuator, which operates the shock absorber with a sinusoidal motion. The test amplitude and speed are adjustable, allowing for the simulation of various testing conditions. Thanks to the flexible test points that can be set during the test cycle and comprehensive data acquisition, all results are displayed on the screen in both tabular and graphical formats. Force-displacement and force-velocity diagrams visually represent the test results clearly.
The flexible programming of the test sequence through a fully customizable test plan offers maximum freedom in creating individual test procedures. A user-friendly PC software allows for easy control of the entire testing process.
Enhanced Capabilities for Valve Testing
In addition to shock absorber testing, the test bench can also perform valve testing. Thanks to a specialized hydraulic circuit, valves from shock absorbers can be tested under various oil temperatures (20–60 °C) and oil pressures (10–50 bar). Eight flexible analog inputs allow the use of analog sensors to optimally monitor and evaluate individual tests.
Additionally, shock absorbers and valves can be powered with a PWM current switching and control device to test the switching behavior under different currents.
