Diesel Injector Test Bench
The test bench consists of two equivalent stations in which all important parameters of a diesel injector are verified using a shot-to-shot measuring unit.
The test specimen is inserted into the device by the operator and…
Highlights
- Control of the integrated shot-to-shot measuring device directly via the test bench software.
- To ensure maximum system availability, the stations are separated. This allows each station to be maintained individually.
- To achieve application-oriented measurement results, the pressure generation unit (vehicle pump) of the complete system is used. It is driven by a servo motor.
- Both the control of the pressure generation unit and the injector actuation are handled by the integrated vehicle ECU.
- By synchronizing injector actuation with the pump position, pressure fluctuations during injection are minimized.
