Alois Rainer, Member of the German Bundestag, visits Sonplas GmbH

Exchange on current developments

At the end of August, Alois Rainer, Member of the German Bundestag, visited Sonplas GmbH in Straubing. Mr. Rainer was warmly welcomed by our managing directors, Christian Wachtmeister and Michael Frankl. After an initial discussion and lunch together, our managing directors gave the a tour of the various departments of our company. The three stopped off at the research and development laboratory, the design departments, and the production halls, among other places.

During the visit, an intensive exchange developed on the current economic challenges facing the mechanical engineering industry. Another focus of the discussions was the future of e-mobility, an area in which we, as mechanical engineers, are making an important contribution with innovative solutions.
