TH Ingolstadt visits Sonplas

Students discover our hydrogen test center

Sonplas GmbH recently welcomed a group of students from the “Hydrogen Technology and Economics” program at the Technical University of Ingolstadt, led by Prof. Dr. Ertan Akgün, to Sonplas.

Michael Frankl and Werner Riederer guided the students through an exciting afternoon on the topic of hydrogen. First, they attended a presentation on how our hydrogen test center was created and the technology and infrastructure behind it.

This was followed by an interesting online presentation by Peter Fledersbacher from Woodward L’Orange GmbH on his company’s activities in the field of fuel cells. Afterwards, the guests were of course able to visit our test center and test bench.

The event concluded with a get-together where ideas and experiences were exchanged in a relaxed atmosphere.
